What makes NSN Motorsports, LLC different from other performance retailers is its roots and the mission of the company. From humble beginnings as the joke and dream of 3 brothers with similar performance cars, to a powerful company that has helped bring innovative products to the Mazda community and service, knowledge, and friendliness absolutely second to none, NSN is here to serve.
NSN Motorsports, LLC was started in 2004 by 3 brothers, but had it's beginnings years earlier. It all started in 2001 when Jeremy, the eldest of the 3 owners, purchased a 2001 Mazda MP3 off the dealer lot. It didn't take long for the need for more power to strike Jeremy and he began adding various parts including a Spool ITS turbo kit to his car. Not that long after, Steve purchased his 2001 Mazda MP3 from Spool ITS's owner shortly after they went out of business. This car was well known in the online community, and Steve has continued to grow it's legacy with continued improvements and work. Only months after Steve got his MP3, Chris purchased a 2003 Mazdaspeed Protégé. Thus, the foundation was laid for the creation of NSN Motorsports.
While owning 3 similar cars is unique enough, it doesn't explain why you'd create a company like NSN. That answer, though, is simple enough. It didn't take long for all three of us to realize that buying aftermarket parts for our cars was risky, frustrating, and fraught with companies that were inexperienced, dishonest, not helpful, and simply not as enthusiastic as we were. Out of that frustration we decided to do something about it and NSN was formed with the mission of being a company that provided answers and service, not parts.
3 years later NSN is growing faster than we could have imagined. As it turns out, service and friendships with our customers were the value we expected them to be for customers. We do this because we enjoy it and have fun talking with customers and being a part of the community. One thing that makes us particularly unique is that still to this day, nobody gets paid! That's right, no wages, no salary, no extra money in our pockets. Now THAT is commitment to the community! The benefit we get is the chance to try new parts, work on our cars, and be involved in racing while the company picks up the tab. So every dollar you spend is going right back in to developing new parts, keeping Mazda's out racing, and making sure that we grow to provide you even more parts, services and answers! While we hope someday to get paid a little for the many hours we put in (and trust us, it's a lot!) it's our commitment to you and the community that you can trust and be sure that we are giving you answers that are best for you and for your car, not for our pocket books!
